Commitments can come from various sources such as personal values, promises made to others, professional obligations, and legal or contractual agreements. They can also stem from social or cultural expectations, as well as ethical or moral principles. Ultimately, commitments are a reflection of our priorities and the responsibilities we have chosen to take on in our personal and professional lives. **

For Lent, I commit to practicing daily acts of kindness and compassion towards others, such as volunteering my time to help those in need or reaching out to friends and family members to offer support. I also commit to deepening my spiritual practice through prayer, meditation, and reflection, as well as attending religious services regularly. Additionally, I make a commitment to give up a specific indulgence or habit that may be distracting me from my spiritual growth, such as limiting my time on social media or cutting back on sweets. **

Commitments help me stay focused and accountable, while constraints provide structure and boundaries that can lead to greater creativity and productivity. I believe that embracing commitments and constraints can ultimately lead to personal growth and success. **
